Another super beautiful day in France. Viva le France!
Alex loved riding the northern coastal portion of Eurovelo 4 and in the future wants to come back and complete the rest of the EV4 coastal ride. But for today, we left EV4 when we turned South at Dieppe.
I hope the pictures and videos today capture a fraction of the beauty from our journey. We rode westward along the coast for the first 15-20 miles. At Dieppe, turned south, where we had a continues 1% climb and minor headwind. From Dieppe to Forges-les-Eaux, the entire ~27 miles was on a bike-only path. We took a lunch break at a lake. There was a small town probably every 5 miles or so, each with their own very steep, tall and pointy Church steeple.
We've booked a hotel tomorrow in Bonnieres-sur-Seine, which is right on the Seine river and maybe 50 miles West of Paris. The picture below was taken at Eu, when we first hopped on our bicycles this morning.
Cheers! ~Cam & Alex

Looks like a perfect way to start your day. How cool are the morning temperatures?
ReplyDeleteHello Anonymous! Morning temps are generally high 50s. Right in the sweet spot where you want a jacket, but as soon as you start riding you're too hot.
