Amazing ride today, much of which was nestled between high groves of pine trees. It was very pretty and majestic to ride through them. The path is smooth, but obviously with pine trees on both sides, there were quite a few pine needles. The needles eventually find their way into the drive trains of our bikes and and leave a sticky residue. No worries, we will clean them up real well tomorrow.
Alex noted how manicured the tree groves seemed to be. They are sort of uniform in distance, and mostly clear of ground cover or low growth vegetation.
Tomorrow we ride to Irun, which is on the France/Spain border. This will be a relatively short ride for us, maybe 40 miles or so...

Some pics don't make it into the video, so this is a bonus section. I thought I'd put in the wonderful sunset we saw tonight, along with what our typical hotel bedroom looks like. Also, can anyone identify the red berry pictured below. They are so amazing to see - very bright, almost fluorescent.
