L2L Day 4 - Calais to Tourquet

First ride in France.  We discussed the difference in personalities of French people vs British.  Brits are gregarious and talkative and sometimes a bit loud.  The French are more subdued.  They don't yell and Alex thinks it may be that they thing raising your voice is rude.  Today, we rode by a few ladies sitting on a bench.  As we rode back they yelled BON JOUR!!  And it was like they were singing - musical.  So when they do talk loudly, it's more like singing rather than yelling!   Another couple (man and wife) said Bon Jour to us loudly, and it sounded like they were harmonizing.

We've booked a hotel tomorrow in a town called Eu.  It's 60 miles to the hotel, so need a good rest and breakfast!

Cheers!
