After Alex had a quick transmission tune on his bike this morning, we made quick work of 56 miles today. There wasn't much for hills and we were wind aided a good portion of the day, so this will not count officially in the record books 😀
Well, France does not disappoint! Really, it's just beautiful. We come across a small town nearly every 5 miles. You can tell that people take great pride in their properties as everything is well manicured and colorful. There are many farms and cows in northern France. Today we rode through a natural reserve and saw many other bicycle travelers, with panniers and the whole bit!
We've dropped off EV4 (Eurovelo route #4) for a while and will be taking more of a regional bicycling route. We'll see how it goes, because Eurovelo really is quite amazing!
Our next stop looks like it will be Forges-les Eaux, about another 56 miles and slightly more hilly than today.

Nice looking bike shop!
ReplyDeleteHi Steve, it was definitely a 10/10 bike shop with great products and service.
