L2L Day 11 - Vendome to Tours

Howdy everyone!  We road another 58 miles today and arrived in Tours.  I'm maybe a bit delirious after all the miles, but I believe that is 328 miles in the last 5 days.

Just curious if anyone saw an interesting photo yesterday - hint, it involved a violent game on horses.

Today was a mixture of rain and shine.  We embraced both of them.  A lot of our riding today was along Le Loir and La Brenne rivers.  The super interesting thing about this area is the many, many homes, garages, shops, etc that are built into the rock cliffs.

We are resting our legs and taking a day off tomorrow.  Alex booked a castle tour, which takes us to, I think two castles each about 30 minutes outside of Tours.  So far, I say that Tours is a very interesting city.   Has much of the vibe of Paris.  It's a much younger crowd, so, is suspect a university is close by.  I like it.

We will update again tomorrow with our 'castle tour' experience.
